JSA - The Golden Age

I've now finished reading JSA - The Golden Age, it's an "Elseworlds story" - so a story that is not part of the DC Universe canon, but that really doesn't detract from the weight of the storyline itself.

JSA - The Golden Age (as you can imagine) features the Justice Society of America.

It follows the downfall of a group of Golden Age heroes after the end of World War II, whilst a new threat rises to power in the world.

Writer - James Robinson
Artist - Paul Smith
Colorist - Richard Ory

I won't give too much away about the plot, in case you want to read it - but its well structured and written and has enough going on for it that it made me smile and even laugh out loud at one point.

Paul Smiths art does all the characters justice (no pun intended) and Richard Ory's colours are just lovely.
