Crooked Dice Studios - 7TV

Being as Pulp Planet now chats about all things "Pulpy" how about Doctor Who and Classic British Action TV Shows.

Crooked Dice Game Design Studio (the folks who did the EXCELLENT) alternative (and FREE) Doctor Who Wargame Rules - are doing "something different" . . . .

Its called "7TV"

7TV is their new (and Sexy) tabletop miniatures game set in the classic sci-fi and action TV shows of the 60s and 70s.

As it says in their description -

"The plots are preposterous and the guest stars improbable. Car chases, debonair adventuring, punch-ups, explosions and open-top sports cars are all in a days work in 7TV. From the groovy mews of London town to the casino tables of Monte Carlo, flamboyant rogues and high-kicking heroines safeguard the world against madmen, despots and secret cults.

Fight across the tabletop as your favourite re-diffused heroes or villains. Flamboyant geniuses, karate kicking angels or unearthly agents sent to maintain the universal balance fight against double agents, sultry spies, mad scientists and supernatural legends. So get out from behind the sofa. Put the kettle on. And tune in to 7TV"

Their miniatures are of excellent quality - being skint as trousers at the moment, I only have Tweedy Mattison & WPC May Killan so far. But their whole range are on my "to buy" list when things start to even out financially.

If you are a fan of Doctor Who (as I am) and/or Classic 1960's/1970's Action TV Shows (again as I am - I'm re-watching the Persuaders at the moment) check them out, you simply WON'T be dissapointed!
